The NYPD sandwich is great! CTB has better coffee options but the sandwiches are way better here. They are bigger, same price as CTB, taste better (I like CTB aswell). Favourite sandwich place in Ithaca. Need to do a better job advertising when they are closed during the summer. I’ve gone for lunch a couple times now and been disappointed they’re closed.

I must say it was truly amazing. The quality of the ingredients and the attention to detail in each dish were evident, and you can definitely taste the difference. Not only was the food exceptional, but the atmosphere of the restaurant was also inviting and pleasant. The ambiance created the perfect setting for enjoying a delicious meal and relaxing with good company. Based on my experience, I highly recommend trying out their food. I am confident that you will love it as much as I did. The flavors, presentation, and overall dining experience exceeded my expectations.

This deli is an absolute gem! The sandwiches are fresh, flavorful, and packed with high-quality ingredients. The staff is incredibly friendly and always makes you feel welcome. Whether you’re grabbing a quick bite or picking up a meal to go, you won’t be disappointed. Highly recommend their signature sandwiches and fresh-cut meats—definitely my go-to spot! Can’t wait to come back!” And can’t forget their orange juice I love it.

I’ve been waiting for big red food court to open since I heard its supposed to be modeled after a NYC bodega. It seems more like a mesh between Yemeni coffee houses that are trending in the city, like Qahwah House + sandwiches you can get at the corner store in the Bronx. Their Adeni tea was fantastic, I wish I could’ve shipped a cup back home to my sisters to enjoy. $6 for 20 ounces is comparable to CTB. Their menu is extensive but they just opened and don’t seem to be on their feet just yet- I’ll cut them some slack because they were offering free samples and comping food because they were short-staffed. I’m excited to try their beehive buns!

Big red food court has amazing food—fresh, flavorful, and plenty of options to choose from. It’s super clean, well-maintained, and feels inviting. The seating is comfy, and the whole vibe makes dining enjoyable. Also, staff are friendly, fast, and always ready to help! Overall, it’s a great spot and really close to campus
